Today we remember the images of the Cannes Film Festival’s staircase in the official screening of REMAINS OF THE WIND, with director Tiago Guedes, actors Albano Jerónimo, Isabel Abreu, Nuno Lopes, João Pedro Vaz, Maria João Pinho, Gonçalo Waddington, Leonor Vasconcelos , Maria Abreu, Afonso Laginha and Benjamim Barroso, director of photography Mark Bliss, producer Paulo Branco and executive producer Ana Pinhão Moura.

It's been 16 years since a film by a Portuguese director made the famous "montée des marches" and we welcome this important return, an honor that, in the last forty years, only Manoel de Oliveira (several times) and Pedro Costa (once) have had.

REMAINS OF THE WIND was part of the Official Selection - Special Screenings of the 75th edition of the Cannes festival, the most important film festival in the world.

REMAINS OF THE WIND hits cinemas in Portugal on the 22nd of September.
