Maria de Medeiros and João Nunes Monteiro were distinguished yesterday with two Film Actors Awards from the GDA Foundation. With the aim of «(...) annually promoting, enhancing and distinguishing the work of Portuguese-speaking actors and actresses, in the cinema format», the Artists' Rights 

Management Foundation awarded the following prizes:

- Maria de Medeiros - Best Lead Actress award for her performance in ORDEM MORAL, by Mário Barroso

- João Nunes Monteiro – New Talent award for his performance in MOSQUITO, by João Nuno Pinto
