It is with immense sadness that I mourn the death of Michel Piccoli, that “monster” of cinema, that unique actor. Above all, a great friend left. A person with whom I shared a friendship, some discussions, lots of laughter and great sweetness, for a long time. He will be sorely missed.

I can say that I am proud to have been the producer of the three films that he made as a director, and thus to have given him the opportunity to also show his genius as a film director.
