AQUÍ, the new film by Tiago Guedes, will be part of the Official Selection of the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival (May 12 to 23, 2026). AQUÍ, Tiago Guedes’ adaptation of the “Jesus Trilogy” by Nobel Prize-winning author J. M. Coetzee, will be part of the Cannes Première section, the most important selection of the festival alongside the Competition, and will screen on May 18 at the Debussy Theatre, in the presence of the director, the actors, producer Paulo Branco and writer J. M. Coetzee.
