The film, which is part of the Cannes Première section, the most important alongside the Official Competition, is shown in the iconic Théâtre Debussy, at 20h15, with the presence of the director, cast, producer Paulo Branco and writer J.M. Coetzee, Nobel Prize in Literature laureate and author of the «Jesus Trilogy», on which the film is based.

AQUÍ marks Tiago Guedes’s return to the Cannes Film Festival after REMAINS OF THE WIND (2022), also produced by Leopardo Filmes, and features an extraordinary cast: Manolo Solo, Patricia López Arnaiz, Álex Peláez, Hugo Encuentra, Daniel Elías, Lambert Wilson, Sergi López, Camille Decourtye, with special appearances by Ángela Molina, Itsaso Arana, Fernando Trueba and Albano Jerónimo. The film will be released in Portugal on 3 December, distributed by NOS Lusomundo Audiovisuais. International sales are being handled by Films Boutique.
