It had its world premiere opening the Rotterdam film festival and in Portugal it had two preview sessions, one of them at Cinema Nimas, in Lisbon. But it is this thursday, March 5th, that MOSQUITO, João Nuno Pinto's second feature film, arrives in Portuguese theaters, from north to south of the country, premiering in 34 theaters.

A war film that goes beyond the genre, starring João Nunes Monteiro, MOSQUITO puts into dialogue the fantasy delirium of Zacarias - a ortuguese young man eager to live heroic adventures during the First World War - and the collective amnesia that marks Western history.

Special sessions will take place, where the director and actor(s) join the audience for the screening of the film.
