A Herdade - The Domain: Leopardo Filmes in Venice Film Festival
A HERDADE (2019), directed by Tiago Guedes and produced by Leopardo Filmes, is the return of a Portuguese film to the Official Competition of Venice International Film Festival. The latest time a Portuguese film was in Venice was fourteen years ago. In the year the producer Paulo Branco is celebrating 40 years of his career, he presents his 41st film in the Official Selection of Venice International Film Festival A HERDADE.
Four of these titles (including three in competition) were produced by Leopardo Filmes.
There is another film produced by Paulo Branco in Venice Official Selection this year:Francisca (1981) directed by Manoel de Oliveira which will be screened in the Venice Classics section.
